Its a given fact that you will be the envy of all your neighbors when you rent a bounce house. So many times we've been told how the adult guest act just a little jealous. What a wonderful feeling. Now let's flip the tables, what it things didn't turn out as you planned when renting a bounce house? Uh-oh. Don't sweat it, we have been in the Bounce House business for four years now and we are going to bring you the top 3 tips that will help make your party a success.
1. Call Ahead of Time To Verify Availability for Bounce Houses
The most important and number 1 thing to do is call a Inflatable rental company to make sure that they have a bounce house in stock. Statistically speaking, it is easier to get a bounce house Monday through Friday than it is to get one on a Saturday or Sunday. Most birthday parties and events take place on the weekend while most individuals are at work Monday through Friday. We recommend calling at least one month a head of time to ensure that a bounce house will be available. The earlier you call, the more likely it is that you will get the Bounce House that you want instead of what's left. Price compare quickly as possible and make a decision because here at Castles Float, our calendars fill up fast!! Companies like Inflate-A-Party and NC-Inflatables which are bigger in size stay booked out constantly. However, some of the newer companies may have more dates available as their client base is still growing. Whatever the case is, it best to call ahead of time to reserve your rental.
2. Send Invites Out At Least One Month In Advance
When sending out invites, it is also best to send them out at least one month in advance. This will give your guest 30 days if not more to plan accordingly. Nothing is more dreadful than sending out a ton of invites only to have one quarter of the invitees show up. You can use a free service like E-Invite, or you can go the old school route and send a letter. Lastly, if you are like most busy parents in today's world, you can shoot a quick text message to your family and friends. Whichever route you decide to take, make sure you get it them in a timely manner.
3. Pay on Time, and Follow All Procedures of The Rental Company
This step maybe should have been number 1, but it is critical that you make all of your deposits and payments on time. Castles Float always recommends a company that requires a deposit. Why? When ever money is exchanged, there then becomes a legal obligation on both parties ends to complete the agreement. Without a deposit, things can get a little shaky. Our first year in business, we didn't require deposits and customers were able to back out without even giving us a notice. With a deposit, customers are more likely to communicate with us when it comes to scheduling events. Likewise for a company, once they have your deposit, it is now their primary responsibility to ensure your service or product arrives on time. Here at Castles Float we make the payment process easy. We accept, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Checks. We found that being able to make a payment while at work is super convenient.
We hope these 3 tips will give you one up to ensure that your kids birthday party is a huge success. Check out our latest blog here.
